All students will take a book home for home reading every night or will advise me of the book that they are reading from home. They will keep a record of the books they have read in a small notebook which is updated daily and as a teacher I will monitor.
It is expected that all students will give their best attempt at homework at home and return their books on Friday for reflection. Those who have not attempted or bothered to try the homework will miss out in activities involving free choice during discovery time on Friday afternoons or attend homework club during lunch time on Fridays. Your child will bring homework home the first week and a homework contract sheet for you to sight and sign.

Under your page on our wiki space write a list of the sort of texts you find the most difficult, and the sort of text you find easiest to understand. Show it as a T Chart. IF you don't have access to the wiki do a T chart in your homework book.
